| Both are made so much worse by Koreans having so little conception of interior climate control, but all in all I'd have to say I'd take freezing winter of scorching summer. Then again, I flee freezing winter in Korea to go some place that has scorching summer heat. Ask me again in winter, perhaps I'll have changed my mind. |

Korean winters are mild...It's actually only "freezing" a couple weeks a year. Late summer can suck with heat+humidity+concrete jungle+pollution. Fortunately we live in the modern age with air conditioners so we suffer relatively little.
A bunch of whiners around here. |

Summer here is more tolerable than what I'm used to back home. As Yu_Bum_suk said, though, they don't seem to know how to control the temperature inside. Always a matter of extremes, to the point that if it is actually "comfortable" inside, many will complain that they're "feeling sick!"
(sigh) I guess they'll start using the air conditioning at school once late September gets here, which will stay on until November, then they'll decide to turn on the heat sometime in late February. I hate the winters here because I have to teach in my coat--I've never worked anywhere where I could see my breath in the classroom before. |

I take hot summer over cold winter any day, I hate cold weather.
In same temperature,
white people SWEAT like dogs while korean feel comfortable.
In same temperature,
white people feel comfortable while korean feel it's FREEZING COLD.
We are just different  |

That really depends on where you are coming from. If you are a Canadian or even from certain parts of the US then Korean winters seem pretty mild. If you are from Aus or SA, then they are @#$%ing freezing.
In winter, I'd never experienced such cold and was praying for summer...now that it's summer, the humidity is killing me. Korea might have four seasons, but I wish they'd do away with the two extremes  |

Even though I'm ripped like a cheetah and have an amazing body that I can show off to all the fine ladies, I find Korean summers a sweaty nightmare. This is made worse by the fact I work at different companies during the week and I have to go in and out of the aircon, making it even worse.
Plus I like to ski. Winter is better for me. |

I don't mind heat, but I can't stand humidity. Last summer it was fine because I had a good air cond. in my apartment. This summer I have a swamp cooler that barely works.
So I much prefer winter. |

Winter.
It's easy to put on a sweater if you're cold. Can't do shit when it humid. |
