How much do Bluetooth earpieces for handphones cost new in Korea? And suggestions on brands available?
If anyone has a used earpiece, I'm interested in buying it.
PM me or reply to this thread.
By the way, I don't have a phone, I just want to constantly wear it around town to make businessmen have more respect for me. |

They seem to be overpriced here. I bought one in a hand phone shop in Daegu for 60000won. Samsung Brand. Same headset would be about $40 in canada. |

I'm guessing Bluetooth devices are global and that one purchased overseas will work find with a Korea phone? |

Yes, they will, bitty... only the power plug will be 110v instead of 220v, for example.
I bought one of those things for my handphone a few years ago, and the sound quality was less than I expected. My advice is that you get an in-ear one, and make sure it doesn't cause feedback. The speaker in those things are mighty close to the microphones, and they have a tendency to cause feedback on the other end unless the receiver is in-ear.
What prices are you looking at? I'm in the US, and saw several for sale near here. Any particular brand or model? I could bring one back for you, if I can save you some money. I'll be back in 1 1/2 weeks.
Comfort is a huge issue, too. Mine is NOT comfortable, especially since my dog chewed on the earpiece! |

Appreciate the offer. I'm heading overseas myself in a month or so and will just snag one there. Regardless, let's get another round of drinks when you get back. |
