It's what they call a TB (Tuberculoses) test. |

Don't listen to previous idiots.
It's the test for drugs. I know it includes opiates and excludes canabinoids. |

Don't listen to the previous IDIOT!
If you ask a Korean doctor, which I have, what TBPE stands for, he/she will tell you it stands for tuburculoses (TB). |

Wrong.
TBPE can stand for tubercular pleural effusion, which is related to tuberculosis. But that's not what KImmi is asking for when they specify a TBPE test for drugs: the Korean is "마약 검사 (TBPE 검사)." 마약 검사 means "narcotic test."
In this case, TBPE is tetrabromophenolphthalein ethylester, a chemical indicator that is used in drug testing to detect opiates and other narcotic-type drugs. |

Well, BigBuds insists that the TBPE test is for tuberculosis, but he can't even spell tuberculosis.
My post just above yours ought to settle the matter for any reasonable observer, but heyyou be the judge.

Well, I haven't asked immi what it stands for only a Korean doctor so I could be wrong. |

My medical check stated it was for drugs. My x-ray was for TB.
Korea doesn't use or care about modern medicine or terminology. |

When is the last time you had a TB test that required a urine sample? It must be something else. |
