so i worked here for 8 months, took a 4 month break, came back, and now i've worked a full year. i'm taking a month off before my new gig.

is there some sort of time limit on the pension funds or will they just keep accruing until i leave? i tried actually calling the pension office, but God forbid someone should actually speak english there.

(yes, i'm a US citizen)

Ten years from your last day of work before it disappears into Korea's gov't coffers. You have any thime before then to collect.

If they haven't been paying into the fund, I believe you have up to 3 years to make a claim.
