I didn't clue into how sexual their "So Hot" dance routine was until I watched the video. Apparently, their latest song is so popular that broadcasting stations have asked them to stop promoting it in order to give other artists a chance to get into the top spot.

The Wondergirls are a major money making machine!

The producer of the Wondergirls, a guy who goes by the name "JYP," which is also the name of his production company, is a pop music production genius who created the Wondergirls and many other youth pop bands.

The link that the OP posted of the kindergarten teacher who does a striptease to the Wondergirls' latest hit single -- "So Hot" -- was likely a "plant" by JYP to generate publicity for the single. It's likely a publicity stunt.

It recently made the press when it became clear that the Wondergirls would not be taking the college entrance exam that all those who want to go to college must take to get accepted into a Korean university.

Upon recently reading commentary by one guy who said that the Wondergirls were foolish to not continue their education, I thought to myself: "School? For the Wondergirls? What? At the rate they are going, the Wondergirls will all be multimillionaires before they are 25! Who cares about higher education when your about to make millions of dollars!"

Realistically, a degree is not going to bring the type of money that they will make as singers and performers.

For they can always go back to get their degree later. In fact, they are so young that if they go a few years later they will still be young and the "college experience" will not feel that different than if they go now.

Their hit single, "Tell Me," exploded them onto the pop music scene. That song and music video is all "cute" and "innocent." See the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQTIsi0IlZc It's the "cutest" music video of all time.

Now this hit single, "So Hot," also a big hit, is "provocative" and "sexy."

Comparing the two music videos, I can hardly recognize the band members.

Their transformation is now complete!

From innocent girls to sexy women, now the bigger bucks will be rolling in!

It's the same story as American pop divas of Britney Spears, Christine Aguilera, and so many others.

Start them out when they are young, going with the "cute" and "innocent" image, and gradually, as they enter womanhood, make them more "provocative" and "sexy" -- sexualize them...and make more and more money!

The lyrics for "Tell Me" are like: "Tell me you love me, tell me you love me, etc.

The lyrics for "So Hot" are like: "I'm so hot, I'm so hot, etc.

If your ever riding the subway in Seoul and the cart your in has a TV screen that's hanging from the roof, which shows all these people in Korea, of different ages and professions, who are all dancing in a particular style, well, that dance is the Wondergirls' dance from their "Tell Me" performance and music video.

Here is the music video of "So Hot" with English subtitles so you can actually know what the lyrics are:

Here is that same video in higher quality, but without English subtitles:

Wondergirls = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Cool

Now watch nearly all the girls that'll try to follow them but become wash-outs. With no college education to fall back on.

Watched the video, not impressed. IMHO any group of young women can dress up like hookers and strut their stuff on the screen, and that will never amount to talent. Yeah they were innocently attractive in the beginning with their "Tell Me" hit, but just as everything else that goes awry, they have chosen to take the low road in the interest of "enhancing" their image. As I said it's my opinion, and they are honestly not worth the attention. Too many other "good performers" in Korea that I would rather spend my time listening to or watching.

The kindergarten teacher video, I'm thinking she's not a teacher and it was just a staged funny UCC.

The lyrics are unbelievable! How egotistical! I think the one in the yellow that falls down on the "red carpet" scene isn't even that pretty (she's the one who plays the superheroine in "Tell Me" video).

The lyrics are sung in a teasing kind of way, hinting more at playful humor than dead serious "I'm the hottest thing alive." I wouldn't get upset about it.

The one who falls down is Sohee and she is like...the biggest thing here. I don't quite get it, but all of my students and plenty of Korean guys in their 20s are obsessed with her. She's being portrayed as "Korea's little sister." She is...an absolutely terrible excuse for a singer.

If talent had anything to do with being a pop star, 90% of them would be bums on the street. That goes for EVERY country, not just Korea.

Oh no, I agree. Most of the pop singers here are mediocre singers at best. But this girl literally cannot sing. It's absolutely unfathomable how she got put in a singing group. My students play the live performances in the classrooms all the time and in every performance I've seen, she has completely been off-key. At least she's "cute."
