Anyone worked with this company? I talked to one of their reps yesterday, and for a recruiter he seemed on the up and up. The odd thing is he said they continue to work, and even advocate for, the student after placement. He 'guaranteed' that they would contact me once a month during the contract to make sure I'm 'happy and doing well.' I worked as a recruiter, and the only time we stayed in contact with a placement was when the placement was short term and we wanted to place that person in another job for more money. Odd, but not impossible.

When pressed as to why they would do this he said it was the company's philosophy. When pressed harder he said it was something they would do so that teachers who go through the visa process, now that it is more difficult, stay in Korea. What does the recruiter care?

Again, odd, and probably too good to believe, but I was an above board, even 'caring', recruiter when I did it. Then again that's why the company and I decided to 'part ways', and me with a nice fat severance package.
