|
|
I wrote a while ago about disabling security on vista which meandered off into a how do I change Korean vista to English thread.
Just thought I'd update that as I know everyone is just hanging out to see how I went......
Anyway I downloaded a program called Vistalizator from www.froggie.sk/ & now have a computer with menus & pop-ups that I can actually read.
Easy & effective.
Thought I'd share in case there are others in the same boat. |

Great find! Very helpful to many people here. You should think about putting this link in the sticky at the top...maybe in the "Useful websites"... |

I started using it recently (after reading the last thread). It's excellent! |

I have it downloaded on to my memory stick - I'll have to try it out soon. I have a Fujitsu Lifebook that I bought in Yongsan at the end of my previous stint in Korea. It has Korean Vista on it. Quite frustrating. |

When using Vistalizator, is it easy to switch back and forth between English and Korean (my wife is Korean)? |

Never tried it as my wife is not Korean but it should be easy enough - there's a whole list of languages & you just click the option you want if I remember correctly. |

OK. I've installed it now. Took a while, but my laptop now speaks English. Fantastic.
Do you think I can install it in my students? |
