President George Bush: 'Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter'
The American leader, who has been condemned throughout his presidency for failing to tackle climate change, ended a private meeting with the words: "Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter."
He then punched the air while grinning widely, as the rest of those present including Gordon Brown and Nicolas Sarkozy looked on in shock.
Mr Bush, whose second and final term as President ends at the end of the year, then left the meeting at the Windsor Hotel in Hokkaido where the leaders of the world's richest nations had been discussing new targets to cut carbon emissions.
What an asshole. How the hell did this monkey get elected twice? |

It seems that a magic bullet should be able to just continue on its trajectory. |

In that exchange of jokes, I'd say Bush comes off looking significantly classier than Dome Vans. [/quote] |

Dome Vans is a random poster, Bush is the leader of the free world. I think the bar should be at least a lil higher for him. It's an embarrassment for him to carry on in such a manner. In all honesty though, I did laugh about it when I read the story. But yeah, ain't really his job to be making us laugh. |

I'll grant you the guy is an idiot, but everyone has had innocent jokes fall flat. In just over 6 months he'll be history. |

Six more months of the *beep* is far too long. Obama or even McCain might not be much better at running America and it's war of terror but I really don't see how either one could be any worse at the job as Bush has.
Honestly has the guy actually done anything that America can be in anyway proud of? |

Any major steps by the Bush administration to control air pollution or reduce emissions of heat-trapping gases came to a dead end on Friday, the combined result of a federal court ruling and a decision by the head of the Environmental Protection Agency. |
Bush is the idiot? |
Who appointed the head of the EPA? |
