|
|
im looking to get back to working out and bulking up so i need a place i can go to get my protein/calorie fix.
Anybody know of any places in general in their area (major dept. stores or local) where i can get them and if they are more expensive in korea? I've applied to a recruiter but dont know where i will be working so im basically asking ahead to get a feel for what type of stuff they sell over there.
i'd like to know if it's readily available for me to purchase because im debating whether or not i should order it back home and have it sent to me...
By the way, the stuff i mainly use are Prolab's N-Large 2 and Universal Nutrition's Real Gains. i personally recommend either of those 2 if you're looking to bulk up - Iin my opinion, they're DELICIOUS!
Appreciation to those who will provide helpful info... |

I've seen a GNC in Yeouido(여의도) if you are anywhere near there. At the Lotte Castle apartments first floor I believe. |

my advice, stay away from GNC. it is so overpriced.
I use a site called speedns.com its got heaps of suppliments, delivers fast and will cost 10 000 won for postage. its in korean so just get a co worker or someone to suss it out for you. good luck with the bulking.

I didn't know where to buy either. I asked the Manager/ Head Trainer at my gym for help. His English is very limited, but we worked it out. He went to a website and showed me some products and I got some great protein, vitamins and a quality shaker 3 days later. |

Yea the GNC in that tower by Yeoksam Station is so weird. Seems empty and the stuff in there is nothing worth buying. I'd try the guy at your gym like someone else said, that's what I did too. I've also gotten stuff from downstairs at Namdaemun market but the net is your best bet. |

If you go to Youngsan stn and go to the Emart in the basement of the big mall you can find some. However the price is insane 80,000 for the cheapest stuff. |

it either says "HTTP Basic: Access denied." or that i need a username and password to go past the www.maxpowershop.com firewall.
Did you encounter this roadblock yourself, spliff? |

maxpower has good prices and u can get anything..it's shipped over from The US. But shipping charges r onlt 10,000. backstreet prices for that kind of stuff in Korea is WAY overpriced from what I've seen. |
