I am heading there at the end of the month with my boyfriend, and would like to book a place to stay. Preferably somewhere close to the beach. but easy to get to other areas (Mt. Seoraksan, etc.) I'm thinking a cheap motel, maybe around 50,000 per night? I've been looking online but would prefer to get recommendations from others. Any ideas?
Thanks |

you can't find anything during july for that cheap. check out http://www.yrhresort.co.kr/ and stop being so cheap. |

Are you in a car or by bus? I drove about 10 km north of Sokcho and found a nice, small beach with tons of minbaks and several motels across the street. June prices were 40,000 won for the motel for me and my girl. |

I think the Seorak Beach Resort isn't too expensive, I live here, but I asked someone how much it cost per night and I think it was around W60,000; it may have gone up since the summer season started, but there are lots of places here to stay, and it probably gets cheaper as you get further away form the beach.. its a pretty small place so a 5-10 min busride (1,000 per person) can get you anywhere! |
