I can help you. Hongje station has four exits. I think it is exit 3 but not sure. You want to come out of Hongje station heading towards Muakje Station (towards Seodaemoon gu, Seoul Station direction, etc. When you come out you want to come out of the exit that puts the buildings on your right side. Again, I think this is exit 3. Walk straight and there will be a Dunkin Donuts on your right side. It is almost within sight of the station. Go past Dunkin Donuts. The next building on the right has a bank on the ground floor. The gym is in that building. I am not sure if it is still open but I think it is. When I was a member it took up three floors but they had some financial problems and cut it down to two. There is a cram school in that building also so usually a lot of middle school students hanging around out front at night. |

Yeh, there is another one in the area too that just opened a while back. You need to go to the subway exit that is nearest McDonalds and walk towards McDonalds. McDonalds will be on your right side. Go past McDonalds and there is a Sauna (JJimjjilbang Sauna). It is a sauna and fitness center. Very nice facility but also a bit pricey. I forget the name, "Sun...of blah, blah" in English. |

found that one tonight, 390,000 for 3 months membership!
found another one though on the same road, could be the one you were talking about. it's above the pizza hut and lg bestshop, 333,000 for 6 months. much more reasonable. |

I could use a gym in Cheong-Ju with a squat rack. I have to clean (I'm not big, 62 kilos) to do my front squats at my Uni. gym, and I can squat more than I can clean (I had done Smitch machine squats before I realized that was a bad idea).
I like doing the cleans but a squat rack would be nice. |
