So i noticed that there's a K-consulate on the US territory of Guam and i was wondering if the consulate there can do interviews for new E2 visas and stuff like that. If so, that makes a hell of a lot more sense than traveling all the way home (for Americans) to get a new E2 visa if for some reason they are denied one in the past due to an immi blackmark or something to that effect. |

From what I understand, it's supposed to be the consulate that manages your area of the USA. You could always call immi at 1345 or the consulate in Guam. |

I've got my E2 from the LA Consulate before and my area of the US was the North East. Anyways, it's a moot point as far as i'm concerned (no intention of switching jobs) but i was wondering if anybody had tried or thought of this option. Certainly flying to Guam from anywhere in Asia has to be easier/less costly than flying all the way home and then to Korea if you're an expat American coming from a third country. |

I don't know about the interview but I've used the Guam consulate several times for visa things and have always gotten good service. Only once in 4 or 5 visits has there ever been anyone else in the place, so fast and easy. Friendly, too. |
