This is a running joke with my friends and I.

It's either the Americans, Japanese, English teachers, muslims, Chinese, sometimes the North Koreans, migrant workers, ect...ect...

Now that the Mad Beef madness has subsided (for now), and the attention is focused on the Japanese over Dokdo (after a small hate fest on North Korea), who do you think the Koreans will hate on next?

When the Olympics start they will be jealous, so it will definitely be the Chinese.
I guess there will also be some hate for every country that beats them as well.
Too bad there isn't a protesting event at the Olympics!

Depending on how this dead tourist turns out, I'd say the Norks. If they refuse to allow any investigation and keep pushing that the South should apologize for their dead tourist, I could see public opinion going that way for awhile.

It's not gonna happen. The uncomfortably NK-friendly TV media outlets are already spinning it in saying that 'it was that lady's fault for inadvertently escaping from her pen. Let's not ruin the fragile peace (*cough* aka appeasement *cough*) we have worked so hard to achieve.

I can imagine anti-foreign English teachers. Just one incident badly exaggerated by the media. Then we'll all be walking targets for Korean zenophobic rage.

Koreans may dislike us under their breath, but they put their need to learn English first.

Agreed. A last-ditch hatred campaign directed at the Chinese starting just before and running through the Olympics.

Re your last point, the Chinese simply wouldn't tolerate any of that sh!t, even with the whole world watching.
