Has anybody been to the Brazilian meat buffet that is supposed to be near Seohyun station (near/in Bundang)? I'm also wondering about the exit from the station to get there, the hours it is open, and the price. Thanks.

If you don't want to go all the way to Bundang, you could just as well go to Impanema nearby City Hall station or CEIA in Shinsa-dong.

There's also a Brasilia unlimited steak in Gangnam, near Kyobo.

The Brasillia near Bundang is one of the best places I've ate at in Korea. However, I've heard the brasillia near Seolleung is crap. It's surely way better then Carne Station.

The one downstairs? Not very churrasco (brazilian bbq) if you ask me. They only have beef and you have to order it form the kitchen, they don't bring it out on skewers, at least not when I popped in for a look. About the same price as the others too.

Are these places genuine or just run by Koreans who read about it on wikipedia?

Do they serve the meat on swords?

I went to an awesome Brazilian BBQ in Chicago when I lived there. Pricey, with drinks I easily dropped $150, but the had every kind of meat you could ever desire: ostrich, buffalo, alligator, and all the standards in several varieties.

The best part was they brought you the meat on big sabers, one guy holding the meated sword with another guys slicing off massive chunks of meat. We even goaded the buffalo guy to cross swords with the beef guy, meat and all. It was great.

Not quite as fun as Teppanyaki at a good Teppanyaki place, but probably the second most fun place I've ever eaten.

Yeah they do have meat on swords (but only four or five types). I marked it on wikimapia.org.

I'm not sure that link will work but give it a shot. The mark is southeast of Samsung plaza in Bundang if you can't find it with a search.

Actually, not true. They LOOK Brazilian, or at least non-korean, but really only the head waiter claimed to be from Brazil. The rest I believe were Russian. I tried using Spanish and what little Portuguese I knew and got nervous looks and no response from most. The head waiter appeared to be fluent enough, the real deal. Anyway the service was really good even though we were dressed really grungy and looking out of place in a nice restaurant. They kept filling our glasses and plates for as long as we could eat.
