Hey all,
whats the best way to find cheap, NICE hotels...my family is coming soon, and I'd like to put them up in something half ass without paying too much for them...i found these websites:

http://www.hotelwide.com/english/main.asp

http://www.hotel.co.kr/

but some of the prices seem like WAY too good to be true so usually in life they are....ex, the first website has ramada seoul, marked down from like 320 000 a night to 70 000 a night...wtf is that? can this be real? any help would be much appreciated!

PS i did a search, but, for whatever reason, my searches come back with a big white BLANK PAGE which is lame!

I used hotel.co.kr and it was so f***ing lame. I stayed at the Crown Hotel in Itaewon on a 50% discount off the regular price of 129,000. It was a crappy hotel like what you would expect back home....small tv, nothing extra.

I've become spoiled by motels here...free drinks, HDTV, computer with internet in the room....extras....I will never stay at a hotel again in Korea....even if I'm by myself, a love motel is so much better, and cheaper.

thanks for the heads up...i've stayed in my share of love motels as well and have found that it's likely veyr difficult for a hotel to match the room and amenities for the price...so...

how can i find a good love motel? is there a website or listing somewhere? or should i just look around an area that i want to stay in and find one?

I use this website for cheap hotels in Seoul. (less than 100,000won)
http://www.hotelnjoy.com in Korean.
http://www.koreahotel.com in English.
You can book Ramada-Suites (near cityhall) for 90usd incl tax.
http://www.ramadasuite-seoul.com
or sometimes expedia has good prices too. so check them out too.

A Korean website that I always use is www.hotel365.co.kr

Tons of 'love motels' all over Korea, but especially Seoul. You can even look at pics of the rooms.

I actually think I first heard about it from this site, recommended by someone else a long time ago.

Hope it helps!
