So, 16 and 50 year olds are the ones getting drunk each night? The only real difference I can see is that in Oldham, it's pretty much everyone BETWEEN 16 and 50 getting loaded.
And yeah, Oldham is a depressing town. Depressing is being kind actually. My first thought when I got back on Saturday was "what a shite pit". Not much has changed in the years since I lived there, sad to say.

yep, oldham.. i went to school there, and wow, what a depressing town. i'm from stalybridge, which probably isn't all that much better. it used to be ok, but now everyone aged either 16 or 50 (but nobody in between) is running around getting wasted every night and calling the place 'stalyvegas'.

First 9 years Haliburton, Ontario, Canada
Next 9 years Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada...so a little growing up in each but I consider Haliburton to be my hometown

A lot of different places since then, but when I go home I always try to get back to Haliburton.

U know Cliff Island?

Yeah, I think I've heard of it. Never been there though. There are a lot of islands that are part of Maine.

I live in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A.

Hipsters here want to rename it Arawak City. I'm not a hipster, I'm a barista at Starbucks who wants to know if it's true what they say about coffee in Korea, because if it's true then no, I will not be sharing my "stash"
