Rteacher 3 questions now:
1) you got evidence for your dualism?
2) if nothing changes in how the mechanic or scientist investigates the laws of nature, what's your point? (Anyway you can answer this succinctly without simply preaching and a page of blue and purple text? Like keep it down to a couple paragraphs?)
3) Granting Hilter read Origin of Species and decided it was a textbook for his career, what of it? You don't dispute that evolution can, and is, used for good and noble purposes (medicine, ecology) Any theory can be used for good or bad. So is your claim anything more than "Nazis used science unethically"?

Don't they all? I can't believe you've the patience to even read their posts. I did notice that we're back on Darwin/Hitler though, which suggests it's the same issues, the same links, repeated over and over again, just like senile dementia. These people are absolutely ill. I do appreciate your continued interest though (mystifying though it is) because you provide great links (like the 29 evidences for evolution).
Evolution is regarded as fact by all involved in medicine, molecular biology and genetics (and also the Catholic Church and the Committee on Jewish Law and Standards, as well as countless other relgious organizations), so who cares what TEFL scum think? |

I did bring up the Hitler thing tho  We'd get to that sooner or later. Itaewonguy, he just keeps reposing the same questions that are answered in the OP. I have no desire to teach him english. My days as an ESL teacher are behind me.

fact huh? sure its possible! I actually personally believe it might be true!
but evolution without a designer! now this is the real debate isnt it..
because I dont believe in miracles, fantasy, sciencefiction or the spaghetti monster! and the athiests/scientist standpoint is not fact ! they are believing in miracles as much as the Theists are! sorry, no cigar!

Dualism better explains consciousness. The monistic materialist explanation of consciousness is a bluff unless they can somehow produce conciousness by some combination of matter.
No matter how sophisticated a computer can be made to be, it can never become "conscious" in the meaningful sense we all intuitively know to be true (without introducing a nonmaterial spirit-soul)
I've already described some significant, beneficial differences that a theistic paradigm would help to bring about (a few posts back) |

Golly. Electricity running your computer is a bluff until someone can show me pictures of electrons. Do you grasp the inferential nature of science?
I hope you appreciate that dualism is also a bluff until you can show the mind existing outside of the brain or some evidence that requires a dualist hypothesis.
Is a car mechanic bluffing about engine trouble because he posits a purely material explanation for your engine problem and doesn't stop to consider it's a combination of piston wear AND piston demons?
