I was and am still against this whole sexy dance rage.
It's more like stirpper dance!! so down with Wonder girls... pedos dream.
I didn't read the whole blog but 'sweety' does look like its made up of a bunch of nice kids.. but i really detest kids acting older than they are or being ridiculously cute.
High Five is enough. |

The kids in Sweety range in age from seven to fourteen. Their eldest ones make the Wondergirls' So-hee look like an ajumma by comparison. |

There was a TV show in the UK a few years ago that was based on a group of pre-teen girls dressed/dancing in 'sexy' ways....can't for the life of me recall the name right now but it was pulled after a lot of complaints from the public. |

It's real. I promise.
I know because the student in the music video with really curly hair and super deep dimples was one of my public school students.
I had no clue what she was going on about on my Cyworld page, and then suddenly it came out and...ah, that's it.
So yes, it's real, I know one of the girls. |

What's wrong with tweens dancing around in short skirts and wearing high heels? I think it's positively adorable. I wonder if in their next video, the girls will eat bananas and innocently lick cherries. |

Good lord, what next? How young is considered too young anymore? Someone tell me, I've lost track.
Is the world ready for...
The Zygotes!!!
Uh huh. A petri dish full of live Korean zygotes.
Doin' the "sexy dance". |

^^ lol at 'The Zygotes'. I'm sure JYP would be their manager.
Does this 'Sweety' phenomenon mean that one day you'll be considered 'over the hill' when you're fifteen? A washed-up, chain-smoking, botox-injecting has-been only fit for reunion concerts? |

The moms and producers ought to have their heads examined for contributing to the mass media sexualization of pre-pubescent females. Are they nuts? The producers want $ and so do the parents. Do they need money that bad? What bloody fark-ups. |

From what I've heard, though, they're NOT poised to be the next pop act or anything. They're a pop group for kids, not teens and regular airplay. It's not like they're going to be the next WG or SNSD...just music for kids. And in that case, it's MUCH better to have the little ones singing harmless little pop songs than the songs I usually hear them singing about getting with a girl and making love. |

If you see any of the current girl or boy bands, theyre all the same.
Then this strange, kiddy pop uses the same formula of obnoxinous as Lee Hyori or So inyoung.
There us no uniqueness in this music culture. Where is the real talented singers? It makes Korean entertainment seem to be a joke. |

Nothing worse than someone using a musical instrument as a prop when they can't play a lick. And, being a singer for forty years, I can look at your throat and tell a lip-syncher from a mile away. Keep that kiddie stuff. Show me the players. The REAL players. |
