Does anyone have any recommendations for a place to stay in Mokpo?
I'd love suggestions of both love motels AND normal hotels. |

There are LOTS of cheap motels and hotels right around the Mokpo bus station. Shouldn't cost more than 40,000 Won for a night. |

I was just in Mokpo yesterday, there's a bunch of hotels and motels along the harbor, right next to the Lotte Mart..... Not sure on costs, but they look pretty decent... |

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend the bus terminal area unless you're heading out on another bus right away. Like the last poster said, I'd go for the ones around the new harbor. There are TONS of new motels everywhere. I would say they range from 25,000 - 45,000 per night. If you get in a taxi, you can just say "Pyunghwa Kwan-jang" -Peace Park. It's also a really nice place to walk around at night (or anytime for that matter).
Enjoy Mokpo! |

Actually, yeah, we just needed a place to stay for the night on the way to Seoul. We found one right next to the station that was small but also friendly and clean. We're not picky. |
