Can we still do visa runs to Japan?? I heard with the new rules that we werent able to do it anymore....
I know I dont need to have an interview in my home country because the local Korean Consulte told me its only for first time teachers, which I am not.
Also, I sent away for a criminal record check last monday, and the next saturday (only 5 days later!!) I received a letter from the Ministry of Justice stating the listed person does not have any criminal convictions etc... it has the MOJ symbol and a signature... I was kind of expecting a more official document though but is that what it looks like? (I dont want to pay to get the Apostille if its not the right document). I got it back so quickly it makes me wonder...

If you don't need an interview in your home country... you're eligible to have your visa issued at a Korean consulate in a third country.
Ergo, you can make a visa run to Japan. Or Thailand, or Hong Kong, or anywhere else there's a Korean consulate. |
