The Weird, Wild and, Ultimately, Sublime

Well it appears one writer for the NY Times digs Korean food.

I had been in Seoul 30 minutes, with plans to eat my way through the city, and already, I felt, I was getting to the heart of things.

Nice article. The writer should have called me. I would've taken him to a really good 돼지갈비 place near here. We've recently come across a good 닭갈비 place, breaking a year and half long drought. I think both of those belong on any list of good-to-great Korean dishes.

Ah ha... "soju, the Korean spirit made from sweet potatoes." (I was wondering exactly what it is, now I don't have to look stupid and ask)
