I heard rumor that an immigration advisor, one who wrote an article on E-2 laws for one of the English Newspapers, is also on Dave's ESL. Is this true? How do I contact him or her? |

The OP is referring the Korean immigration "adviser" (or something) that wrote pieces in the English-language papers earlier this year in regards to the new E-2 visa changes. Other expat columnists cited him and said he was helpful when they talked to him.
But I don't remember the guy's name and I don't have links to his articles, but they were posted and commented about here on Dave's.
About 2 weeks ago, another poster mentioned the guy by name on a thread and even mentioned he joined Dave's, but never became active or helpful. |

He did create an account on Dave's, but after seeing all the ridiculous tripe that people here posted about him, I don't think he came back. Can't say I blame him, either.
I've corresponded with him several times by e-mail. He's very pleasant and helpfulas long as you don't take an arrogant or aggressive tone with him. You'll catch far more flies with honey than with vinegar. |

And after all the tripe he wrote about us in the paper, do you blame people for coming down hard on him? |

He never replied to my comments. Shame I have been in vain for an awfully long time. |

Accusing him of being a pedophile? Or running a brothel? Using all sorts of expletives? Yes, I absolutely blame the people who did that kind of stuff. It's people like that who give the vast majority of us a bad name. |
