It's too bad you didn't have any friends or family who were cops who could stop and "ticket you" for breaking the law. Hitting her with a "ticket" for several hundreds of dollars (she doesn't have to know it's not real) would probably have stopped the arguments while Stateside. |
I just sat in the baking (Sacramento Valley) car, refusing to drive an inch until the kids were straped in. I also used to pull the car over and refused to drive if the kids weren't buckled in. I also told my wife, "do you want your last memory of our son to be his brains all over your designer clothes?"
Failing to protect your kids is a crime. |

In Korea, if you can't hold onto your child safely, you obviously don't love them enough. I've actually heard more than one person say this.
What they need to do is start showing those Crash Test Dummy commercials, specifically the one with the Dummy holding the pumpkin in their lap and when they crash it turns from a pumpkin to a "squash". |
