SOLD!

stop calling me!

For Sale:

Blaupunkt Lucca 5.2 navigation with DMB.
See it at GMarket

It's new, never installed in a car. The box has been opened and the unit has been upgraded to the latest software, maps, and info. I bought this for my fiance, to replace her current non-DMB navigation. But when it arrived I realized that this unit wouldn't appeal to her (it's not svelte), so I ordered another one which she did like.

It comes with Congnavi software, which looks really nice, and is licensed for several years of updates. And the DMB (that's mobile TV for those who've been sleeping) is great too. That said, the navigation is all in Korean. Now, if you can read hangul, this shouldn't be a problem. After you input your destination it does give pictorial map directions that are easy to understand. Further, the warnings about the speed cameras are pretty obvious too.

The unit also has a rechargeable battery for mobile use, can play mp3 and video files, and more. And with the DMB, it receives the English Arirang radio program as well.

I bought this for 99k won a couple weeks ago, then the price dipped online to 89k. So, you can have it for even more savings at only 75k!

If you want to buy, best way is to call or text me at .We can meet here in Seoul, in Hongdae (line #2) or over by the Coex Mall (Samseong station, line #2). I live in Hongdae, but a couple times a week I'm over by the Coex. If nobody locally is interested, I'd be happy to ship it to anybody else who prepays by bank transfer and pays for shipping (5,000 won).

Even if your Korean skills are totally busted and you don't have a car, because this thing has a battery you can walk or bike around Korea with it and never get lost. Just pull it out and get a GPS lock, then zoom out to find the nearest subway station, and start walking towards it.

For 75 bucks you can't go wrong!

What is with this thing that it sells for 87,000won NEW?

I quickly looked at the link you gave. ... Bosch? ... Can this thing be used in the USA? If so, the price is that much more perplexing.

Who's the d---y asking 50,000?

Then again ...

You get what you pay for. ???

Maybe this is a freakish once in a lifetime deal.

Too bad I already have 2 Navis for my cars.

Yeah, it looks like the price dropped 2 bucks more... Ack!

Anyway, no you can't use it in the USA because it's set up for Korean navigation software, which only covers South Korea. There are some firmware updates out there for Europe, but once you flash it it's going to try to load the correct navigation software for that area--which you could possibly find for download somewhere, albeit unreliably and without license to just download the updates from the website. This make was not sold the US as far as I know, hence no maps or software for there.

The unit's clearly getting clearanced by Bosch to make room for the upcoming 5.3 unit. It's also assembled in Korea so this is the easiest place to blow them out.

For what it's worth, the unit is perfectly serviceable with it's only shortcoming being that it's a little bulky.

Still got it?
After a frustrating week of trying to find places, I'm willing to try a korean navigation unit.

If the price is right......
