So the USO tours are booked for the dates I want, and AK doesnt have any listed soon....has anyone tried the other tours offered? I see them on English websites like travel2korea etc. so I ASSSSSSSUME it is in English, but.....this is Korea.
Can anyone recommend a decent tour?
Oh and I want to go to Panmunjun, not the other stuff. |

bump,
seems to be the only chance ill get at seeing this and there is no way i want to miss it, its one of the reasons i came to korea- any website links (in english) for a decent enough reliable tour operator?
plus im from gwangju, easy enough to get to the site from Seoul?- i assume id need to stay in Seoul for the night before it? Are there ever any buses going straight there from Gwangju? |

I was in korea on a program and went to DMZ.
We got there by public transport, but I remember having to change in the middle to get to the final destination. All tickets were available at the train station from what I remember.. to my knowledge nothing was prebooked or pre-paid for.
All I had to bring was my passport.. and no photos when you're there.
I must warn you it stinks like animal faeces (and that was in winter)... cos it's pretty much out in the wild. Seeing as it's Summer, I'm not so sure whether I'd wanna be there ^^ .. |
