Here is a gratuitous positivity thread devoted to the mods and to Dave's.
They offer a free service; it is what it is. Most of the time it's pretty damn good. I use it a lot, since I moved away from big towns here in Korea, and I'm stoked to have the option to interact with a lot of people from all around the world who are, largely, in the same line of work as me. Especially cause I don't this way have to LOOK at any of you...yuck! Much better this way.

Not to be a wet blanket, but just the other day, in Nolegirl's 'WTF' thread, I replied to a post by Draz. Draz wrote something to the effect of "I'm just waiting for Nolegirl to start working, then she'll actually have something to complain about", to which I replied "Seriously". Both Draz's post and my reply got axed, yet Nolegirl's potty-mothed replies stayed (this is not a knock on Nolegirl, BTW). No pm from a MOD to tell me or explain why the trivial posts were removed. Far worse has been allowed to stay...
It's the inconsistency that bothers me.
That being said, I do enjoy posting here... |

I had that yesterday, I commented that Mrsquirrel is living long in fromtheuk's posts. This morning I got a Peach PM saying it was deleted because it wasn't apt.
