I'm having a get together in Hyehwa and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good spot for a large group of people? I know there's a lot of outdoor places there, anywhere that can pack em in? Maybe a spot that doesn't get too busy? Thanks all.

Can you give a number estimate? It'll help us know if they'll all fit.

There's a nice, huge cafe called Cafe T+ in Hyehwa ... 2 floors with tonnes of space and nice atmosphere. They have a terrace, too. They serve wine, coffee, and a decent menu which includes pizzas, pastas, and salads.

sistersarah, where is that in relation to subway exits?

jkelly, The Red Lion near exit 1 has 2 floors of English-style pub and could hold that many. Junco, near Bennigans down from exit 1, can hold that many, but they don't do reservations and it fills up quick. You can also go out exit 1, or 2, and search the small streets on that side, the east side, of Daehangno. Lots of restaurants there, a few have outdoor seating. Finally, there's a buffet called "Giordino" or something Italian like that at Ihwa junction. If you go out exit 3 and walk straight to the next big street (a couple blocks down past the SNU hospital), you'll see it on the corner on your right (in the Hongik Uni building). Buffet with beer included is 20,000 or so and they have lots of space, but make reservations.

Cafe T+ is near exit 4... Go out exit 4 and go immediately left down the "walking street" (street with no cars and lots of shops). After around 5 minutes (not even) Cafe T+ is on your right, 2nd and 3rd floors. The entrance is next to "Watson's." It's a nice spot because it's never overly busy, yet it's so spacious and tastefully decorated. Worth checking out.

Thanks for the replies all. I'll check out Cafe T then. If anybody wants to hang around with a bunch of SMOE drunks plan around 11 o clock or thereabouts.

11pm? T+ closes around 12 if am not mistaken...but it wouldn't be too hard to take over one of the galbi/samgyapsal/chicken places with outdoor seating around exit 4 or the big curved road that leads away from T+ (is that too vague a description?).

if you aren't going on a weekend then Comfort Zone behind the dunkin donuts (across from T+) is a great spot that could fit that many albeit spread out a few tables. the owner andy is nice and they make decent food too.
