That had to be written by a foreigner taking the piss.

A book for high schoolers was talking about careers, and listed several people from around the world and their jobs.

One man was from China. He was a pilot.

His name: WONG WEI


The class must have been on their toes, because as I explained that it sounds like something else, they got a big kick out of it.

In my Phonics Star books on the topic of the long 'u' sound:

Correct the mistake- PUBE (a tube was pictured)

'Pube' isn't really per se, but seeing it in print helps to brighten up an otherwise tedious day!

a picture with 3 dudes sitting on a bench.

one dude is about to sit down as well.

the sentence reads "another brother is ____ on the bench."

and you have to choose
a. sit
b. sit
c. sitting
d. sits

but

the dudes in the picture - they're all black.
