One of my favorite movies! And, yes, I am a Christian. The Life of Brian anyone??? |
What's your top 5 religious themed movies?
Here's mine of the top of me head.
1. The Wicker Man(1973)
2. Life of Brian
3. The Omen
4. The Exorcist
5. The Man From Earth
The Omen and Exorcist are still pretty good scary movies. The Wicker Man just has two of best performances from Edward Woodward and Christopher Lee. I mainly like this movie because there are no supernatural elements to this movie, it's just crazy pagans vs crazy Christian virgin. I like the life of Brian because it's simply classical British humour poking fun at religion and the establishment with some still funny skits and a great song at the end. The Man from Earth is a recent one which shows about a man with an unbelievable story that's near impossible to refute. The producer of this movie also thanked bittorrent users for sharing the movie and raising its profile, so go find it. |

| The Last Temptation of Christ. Jesus bashing heads in and hookin' up. The way a Christian movie is meant to be made! |

| The Last Temptation was far more sensational for me for having William Defoe as Jesus and Harvey Keitel as Judas than knocking up anyone. |

Oh, God!
Bruce/Evan Almighty
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Saved! - Noone saw this movie but it's pretty good for the younger audience. Think of 'Mean Girls' with a religious twist. Stars the exquisite Mandy Moore, McCauley Cauklin.
Davinci Code
"You are the last living descendant of Jesus Christ."
Ha ha! What rubbish.
iRobot?? The robots were angels?

The Passion of the Christ is great.
I'd recommend it if you were up for a good laugh. I saw it in theatres and roared with laughter the entire way through! Even the old people thought it was funny, because they seemed to be crying (probably because of laughing so hard). |

Now that sounds odd. Laughing their way through Aramaic and Greek, that has to be a first.
I realize you may be acting sarcastic here, I'm never quite sure. |

Yes, there is a high likelihood that I was being sarcastic.
Holy shit this is small. I bet this is what ants would write like if you were to give them a really tiny pencil! It's even smaller than the violin I play when I don't give a crap!
Hmmm... writing this size, I could write my biography on the end of my fingernail! Or I can publish children's books with full copies of "Mein Kampf" printed dozens of times on the inside and no one would notice! |
