Just give Larry Flynt some room, he will take care of this guy... again. Larry roasted this guy a few years back about having an affair on his wife. This after Bob was part of the Clinton impeachment campaign. Cost Barr the election that year for Congress.
Larry just needs some time to go into pit bull mode. |

While browsing through the list of 3rd party candidates today I found the Boston Tea Party here: http://www.cj08.com/
If you scroll down a bit, you'll find a fun article about the Dueling Dixiecrats where candidate Charles Jay takes on Barr's praise of Jesse Helms. It's quite fun.
"Recently, ultra-right wing moral conservative presidential candidate Bob Barr wrote a statement in effusive praise of ultra-right wing moral conservative racist former U.S. Senator Jesse Helms, who passed away on the Fourth of July at the age of 86. Well spare you any further editorializing (at least for the time being), but we hope youll be satisfied as we play this episode of Dueling Dixiecrats:
BOB BARR ON THE ATTRIBUTES OF JESSE HELMS: .unfailing kindness, good humor, generosity and patriotism.
JESSE HELMS, EXERCISING THAT KINDNESS AND GOOD HUMOR TOWARD CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVISTS: The Negro cannot count forever on the kind of restraint thats thus far left him free to clog the streets, disrupt traffic, and interfere with other mens rights.
***
There's much more of this sort of thing...What Barr said about Helms, then an apt Helms quote.
From the looks of it, the Boston Tea Party is a break away splinter of the libertarians...but with ethics. |

The ad that ended Bob Barrs congressional career and set him on the road to being a Libertarian.
http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=IOuRsnVny7Y
VIDEO: WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME, BOB (BARR)? This commercial is a scathing indictment of the most rabid Drug Warrior in Congress, former Libertarian Party Political Director Ron Crickenberger.
Crickenberger produced this devastating ad for the LPs Carol Ann Rand, who ran against the Georgia Republican in an election in which the newly redistricted Barr lost the GOP primary to John Linder, sending him back to the private sector. (2002, Running Time: 1 minute).
Many thanks to libertarian activist and renowned medical marijuana proponent Steve Kubby for sending this in.
