I think I know the answer, but through rigorous scientific research (a 'Dave's' poll), I'd like to know at what age are K-kids most likely to pretend they're the aliens and you're Cartman. |

No, sorry to say it's not one of those Korean experiences I've had. It's on my list of things to do, though. |

LOL... if I didn't know you, I'd say you're one sick puppy!
When you get around to 'it', do you want to be the 'chimer' or the 'chimee'? |

In my 3 years it probably only happened 2-3 times... usually the students only pretended to ddong-chim me, and at that point I let the class know that if anyone does it to me then Ill hold the culprit down and let the entire class do it back to them as punishment!!
Of course I would never actually do that but at the time they all laughed and after that it never became an issue.

Over the years by many different students. Never twice by the same student though. |

Yeah - by some fat elementary student in my last job whose name was - I don't remember now - but if it weren't for the Korean teacher present he would have copped a beheading worthy of Al Qaeda.
And if it wasn't for the fact I was wearing stout jeans - his dirty little thumb would have shot through into my orifice. |

Yes, once.
My reaction was to pick up the student and hang him out the 2nd floor window, it hasn't happened since... Not a mature response, but as a detterent it has so far proved extremly effective. |

I was ddong-chimed late in the morning on 22 August, 2006, by a little girl at the Outback Steakhouse in Changwon when I was walking to my table. It's never happened at school, and I'm sure I'd have no problem going totally Korean-teacher on a student if it ever did. |

For me it was twice in two years by elementary students at my old job.
Never at my present middle school (these boys know better). |

I was kind of dong-chimmed by some 2nd grade middle school girl. Actually, I'm no t really sure. I was walking by her desk and I felt some girls hand on my ass near the netherlands. Might have been accidently, not sure though, but it felt weird. |

It just goes to show what little respect we English monkeys get. Never have I seen this done to a Korean. I had it happen twice in front of the little twats mother. She saw it, my reaction to it but did nothing. |

LOL! Its never crossed my mind that a steakhouse could be dangerous... and what a strange girl. What possessed her to attack a stranger. |
