I'm thinking of getting a new telly. The primary concern (yeah, I'm a big kid) is gaming. I've got an xbox 360, so it goes without saying that it should be HDTV compatible. 42" sould be sufficient. I have no idea how much I need to spend. I've seen them on the net for as little as 750K. I've seen xanvas TVs for 1.4M.

So, how much should I spend if I want something that does the job?

Just don't get an XCanvas. I have had 3, and every one of them had problems. Get a Samsung or Sony.

Cheers. How about PAAV? I've seen them on sale for 1.3M in the dept store.

Get a Full HD PAVV 40", 42" 1.4 mill or so. Then get a 5.1 stereo system.

I don't believe those linked are full HD in other words 1080P capable. Not at those prices.

Mainstream full HD 42'' start at around 1.4mill.

Now I see. I thought there was something sketchy about the HD급 at 900K. Just wanted to be sure. Thanks for that.
