I would like to teach adults in a place with clean air. Am I living in a fool's paradise? Who shall I contact? Dave

Anything is possible, & I'd guess theres a certain number of people around doing just what youre after.

Some hagwons specialize in adults (SISA comes to mind but their branches are hit & miss). You'd likely be looking at split shifts. Theyre in lots of smaller cities.

Teacher-training positions come up (KNUE in Cheongju advertises from time to time, among others). Other one-off situations do come up but I'd guess they mostly get passed along to folks in the know. Probably require extra credentials or experience too.

If youre just starting in on this game, you might focus your search on mixed-level hagwons (I notice some advertise older kids up to adults). If you havent taught kids before, you might actually find you enjoy it. In some ways theyre simpler to deal with & more rewarding to teach than adults.

Fools paradise? Likely not, but you may have to pay some dues before you waltz into your dream job. Your best bet might be to find a workable compromise & distinguish yourself. Doors will open.

The air isn't too clean anywhere in Korea. You did mean in Korea, didn't you?
If you want to teach adults your best bets are highly populated areas where there are universities and/or factories. I work at a company in Gumi for example. Gumi is the industrial center of Korea and thus there are some good company teaching jobs here. But your fresh air requirement will not be met I think. Any Korean town with really clean air doesn't have enough people to fill a school and certainly has little need for English.
The big down side to teaching adults is you're likely to end up with split shifts. If you can snag a job on-site at a company you may have an 8-3 set-up like me. But if you teach in a hagwan you'll likely have splits. My school is not hiring at the moment and I don't know of any jobs in particular. But that's my 2 cents. Good luck.
