I'll split the difference, if you don't mind?

I'd never looked up my hometown on wikipedia before, but it seems my family name comes from a bunch of bones buried there in 1442.
As for the name of the town, it apparently meant "peasants' clearing" in Anglo-Saxon. Time moves on, but it's funny how some things stay the same. |

Haha, I DO. He went by Rob Zimmerman, and he lived in Wisconsin. He had long hair, loved metal, and was an all around Bob Dylan hater.
... and no, I don't know that other guy... |

But it's so much easier to tell people that I'm from Chicago. |
I'm from Michigan...and often I say 'Detroit' to more blank stares...then I say 'it is kinda near Chicago'.
Ahh... |

There aren't many Australians on here.
I am from the most beautiful place in the world.
It is an Island state in Australia called Tasmania.
Home to the cleanest air in the world, the Tasmanian devil and weirdos.
I come from Devonport.
I only ever met one other Taswegian in Korea.
I reckon the people are too backward (or stupid) to venture too far out.
I am now settled in the best city in Australia (Melbourne). |

Go Pioneers!
Some Korean Christians know of Grand Rapids, because of its Christian Book Publishers (Zondervan, Baker, Kregals, Eerdmans) as well as Calvin College and Seminary.
Yes, my hometon was a suburb of Dutch Deformed Grand Rapids, but I'm not Dutch, and I'm not Christian Reformed (I'm German and Lutheran Church Missouri Synod). |
