I will be coming back to Korea. My newspaper job starts this coming monday and I am scared as shit to be honest. I feel like I will be locked down in an $11 an hour job for at least a year in my town of 25,00 people. It's so mundane and boring even thinking about it. Plus I really miss it over there. I am coming back. I wanted to stay here and pay my dues, but the thought of working that newspaper job has been haunting my mind ever since I agreed to it. My time overseas is not over yet. I just hope I can get an F-2 without too much difficulty because I will only have about $400 with me after the airfare.

You just need a Korean gaurantor (sp.?) to sponsor you whilst you are in Korea (family most likely). So visit immigration in Korea when you arrive with your wife and her family (brother, mother, father, etc).

Good luck.

There must be some missing info here. Why do you have to take this job? Why not look for a better job in Korea?

Why are you coming back!!! You bitcheed and moaned the whole time you was here, and wrote stories that weren't true. You obviously was bored whilst you was here!!!!!!!!! Stay at home and do Korea a favour.

kentucker4 - I look forward to reading your posts - well most of the time - even responding to them is great! -

if you accepted a newspaper gig - are you a budding writer? I think that's great and I know I'm not alone in saying I for one would love to read whatever novel it is you're working on -

keep us informed of your return - it gets a bit dry around here for humor!!

Why is this even a problem? You obviously no what he/she means. Are you a prescriptive linguist?
