I work in a Kindergarten/Elementary Hagwon. There is no difference in the hours for our kindergarten students in August. They keep going as normal. They even get extra homework to do each day they are on our summer vacation week. The overall hours that I teach is much more than normal because I have summer school for the elementary students as well so some of the time that I usually have off class is for the summer school time filled with elementary classes.
A lot of the Kindergarten hagwons also have elementary and/or middle school students as well. Because Kindergarten students usually come during the day (to about 2:30) and the older students come after they finish normal school. |
