My interest is to help others here to avoid being hosed by people like you. I am not accusing you of intentional gouging, but your seeming innocent ignorance makes it all the same to the buyer.
Listen, while your system may mean something to you, (and heck, if it still useful at all, keep it) but you are indeed asking far too much for it; it is quite antiquated and weak besides.
Celeron 1.8, 256MB of shared system memory with onboard 4x AGP graphics. I also have no doubt that the included battery is shot, and if you have replaced it, well, that's like doing the rings on an old beater; no worth in resale.
Look at some of the other threads here selling laptops: For $800 you can get a machine that will absolutely and utterly destroy yours. Now, looking at bang for buck, your system is simply not worth $300. A Macbook Pro for $700...your machine is nowhere near 40 odd percent of that performance.
If it were my computer, I may ask 40 ~ 50,000 for it, but that's it. |
