This game just came out in arcades in Japan. With any luck, it'll make it over here sometime soon. Anyone happen upon it in an arcade yet?
I played Street Fighter III in an arcade near my apartment for the first time (other than on a console). Playing against others kind of got me hooked on arcades and online games. I actually visited the arcade more in the last few months than I ever did when I was a kid. Then, they decided to get rid of Street Fighter III in favor of a fifth Guilty Gear Machine or something.
Anyway, IV looks awesome and I'd like to play it asap; if anyone sees it, let me know. |

| They had SF 4 competitions at Comic Con in San Diego. The graphics look incredible. Hope it comes out soon! |

I played it in Osaka a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty awesome. the gameplay is similar to classic Street Fighter 2, but the graphics are Incredible. It seemed to be on ultra difficult mode though, it took me about 6 go's to get past E Honda.
They have all the original Street Fighter 2 characters with a bunch of new one's as well.
It really brought me back to my misspent youth spending too much time on the megadrive trying to master the dragon punch. Shoryooken! Haduken! |
