| the link you provided, at the bottom of the page there is a link to HP's list of troubled machines - click it, it takes you back to the link I provided which says my machine (dv6500) is okay.. kk |

| It is the GPU that is defective not the model. Still though, you said your computer was a DV6000 model yourself so I don't really understand how you can dance around the fact that your computer has a potentially fatal problem with its GPU. At least make sure you update the BIOS! |
