What is the expected usual wait time a whitey must wait before receiving pay for completing 40 hours of PS after school classes? The program was completed on JULY2nd, the paper handed in and documents signed that same week.

It's now about one month later. I did an English summer camp all last week at my school~ the only person besides the school administration at school. Not complaining , just letting you know the English department supervisor was not at school for two weeks until today.
Two weeks ago, I asked the school administration people about the pay for the ASP informing them that I would be going on vacation beginning Aug 8th and that I would like the ASP pay BEFORE THEN. They indicated through broken English I would receive it by then. They went on to tell me the money HAS YET TO BE COLLECTED from all the students! So, for two weeks nobody was at school it being their duty to take care of this issue~no money has been collected as of yet. The English supervisor came to school this morning after two weeks away but I did not feel it was a proper time to start demanding action to receive my ASP. Perhaps some attempt was made in my absence to do something about it, who knows. I will inquire about it tomorrow but this being summer vacation the chances of parents' making payment {total :W1,000,000+} in three days is wishful thinking on my part. This kind of thing -left in the dark over money matters etc.. - is disrespectful and shameful in itself but especially to someone [me] with ten+years teaching experience in Korea and certified as a teacher. They don't get it , do they? ~ or, is it me who doesn't get it. ARGHHH !

I actually think someone's telling you a fib. In my experience at public schools all the money is collected at the start of a course, certainly within the first week of the lessons starting.

(I also had to phone my co-teacher last week to ask when I would see my pay in my bank account. I was paid a few days later, but it makes me wonder how long they'd have left it if I hadn't asked.)

Mine showed up on July 29th. But I called my keeper and the teacher in charge on afterschool everyday for a week.

Good luck getting it.
