So all I have left to do is book the flight.

On my government transportation request form it asks for a "flight reservation number". Does this mean that I need to pay for the flight upfront and I will be reimbursed?

How does this work, anyone with experience with this please, I need you!!!

Reserve a flight with Korean Air, they will give you a reservation number, give that to SMOE and they will pay for your flight.

no you dont need a credit card, and you dont need to pay anything. They will tell you that you have until whatever day to pay and give you a reservation number, you give that number to SMOE and they pay.

Isn't the SMOE office or their appointed recruiter able to communicate these processes and answer these question for you? Not coming down on you at all OP, just wondering if you have received competent help from the Korean end of the deal. There is no reason a new teacher should have to check a 3rd party source like eslcafe.com for these kind of inquiries.
