Hello there.
I have my first vacation next week, and have decided at the last minute that I want to leave the big smoke and head somewhere coastal. I live in Suwon, so was thinking of getting the KTX down to Busan...however I am worried that there won't be any accom in Busan at this time of year...and Busan is routinely slagged as a bit of a slopfest at this time of year (not by me though...haven't been there).
So...i was wondering if anyone had any other tips for locations for a two day midweek sojourn to the coast? Somewhere where there would be accom (happy with Love Motels...or even tents), and that is reasonably nice to visit. Tips on bus numbers from Suwon or anything of that nature would be nice...but I am not greedy.
Hope you can help me to see more of Korea than just Suwon, Insadong, Hongdae and Yongsan!!
Cheers,
Burndog. |

Ganeung or Donghae, Sokcho or somewhere closer than Busan is nice too. |

There will always be plenty of accomodation in Busan, because there are so many motels and hotels. Especially in Haeundae the competition is higher because of the numerous love motels, and so prices are pretty decent no matter when you go. |
