Hi Everyone
I was planning on coming to teach in Korea between my start date of grad school and now. This means that I would have been in Korea, but circumstances have changed. Do any of you guys know of any place that offers 6 month contracts?
Thanks

IF you have an F2/4/5 visa, then hop on a plane and go to work.

IF you are in Korea you can usually find short-term work (3-6 months) but they are often illegal positions (E2s are initially issued for 1 year) and usually have no benefits (housing/medical/pension/severance/airfare).

IF you are NOT in Korea then you have about the same chance as a snowball in hades for an E2 position

OR

you could try for one of the "TALK" type short term (6 month) government programs out in the southern provinces.

Could you point me in the direction of one of these programs?

In light of your other post: http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=130840 you might have a better chance by jumping on a plane and heading for Taiwan.
