I went to my 10th year reunion and had a blast (from what I remember happened). Now it's the 20th anniversary and I'm seriously thinking of going since these things happen just once a lifetime.

Anyone else going to HS reunions?

Mine is only two miles up the road from here, so I usually go since I moved back here. Even to the planning stage get-togethers we have a couple times in the months proceeding them. My neighbor is our class president and we call it the Earl and Cheryl Show in honor of him and a gal who gets it all organized. The rest of us go to agree and drink beer. Laughing

I suppose if you were planning to go home for that time period anyhow, yes, go for sure. But if you weren't planning to come back for this ocassion, get a friend there to set up a laptop/webcam/chat for you. Or do what we did, start calling old friends on a cellphone, and pass it around for everyone to say hi.

I think my 5 year reunion is coming up. Social networking apps like facebook and myspace make reunions kind of moot, however, since anyone I'd ever want to keep up with over the years can easily be contacted via these sites...
