I'm looking at visiting Busan early next week. Just looking for a recommendation on a good budget hotel. Or is everywhere likely to be booked out now? |

I stayed at a place called Noblesse. Not too far from the main beach. Mirror on the ceiling, disco lights in the bathroom, big screen tv. I don't think it was by any means a budget place. Best bet for a cheap place would be a goshiwon or a yagwon. Don't know of any, or any numbers to call. Sorry I am not much help, I just wanted to mention the mirrors and disco lights, and oh, free condoms.
My wife choose the hotel, it was kind of like our honeymoon, seeing as we legally signed documents earlier that day. We then had the ceremony in Thailandon a beach and a kind of honeymoon there, and then one more honeymoon in Vegas, all her ideas. I love my wife. |

There's a really nice love motel in Seomyeon about a block from the subway station. Seomyeon is convenient if you have multiple destinations in Busan. It's called the "S Motel." To find it, go out Seomyeon Exit 13, walk straight, turn right at the first corner (Shinhan bank), and walk straight 1-2 blocks. You'll see it on your right. The "S Motel" costs 60k for a regular room - in which you will find a small jacuzzi tub. For 70k you can get a bigger tub and a private dry sauna. I think there are also some cheaper rooms (45 or 50k). All the rooms are very clean with a/c.
Good luck. |
