Does anyone know the deal with d-4 student visas? I have had a bit of a search but i want to know what the story is with working etc. I heard/read a while back something about being able to work in your second semester but i cant seem to find it, anyways, if anyone can tell me when and where i can work etc any info would be much appreciated, thanks.

That's with the D-2, not D-4. You need permission from immigration first. I read that the work had to be related to your major before, but I doubt it.

I probably won't even bother with work in my second semester. Who wants to work at a 7-11 in Korea or something. You can teach English if you qualify for E-2 visa requirements on top of your D-2. I'm not sure about this, but I heard the E-2 was changing to allow people who've completed two years of university to teach. If so, I can teach with approval. Is that true?
