I never thought to post my students funny essays on digg before. This one made the front page.

I spent some time scoring standardized tests here in Columbus and there were just enough funny answers to keep us going 40 hours a week for four months out of the year. I even went back for a second year.

This is what I learned about the plant life cycle:

"The flower helps the organism with it's sweet nectar...only the child spelled organism incorrectly.

And then, between the spelling errors and the poor handwriting, I somehow got the idea that "Jerry Rice one four super bowels in a cow"

These were ordinary American 5th graders and you don't even want to know how many of them want to meet Hannah Montanna.

If it wasn't such a touchy area (the sexual angle), I'd say this kid's about ready for a sneak peek at his dad's Playboy collection. He'll be locked up in the bathroom for days.
