There comes a time in a man's life when one inevitably asks one's self: why aren't there any good holidays in August? Now is the time to remedy that situation friends. I present to you, the first annual DAY OF DISCORD.
In the day of user created content, youtube, camwhores, and internet grocery shopping comes the next step in advanced awesome technology: UCH, which is long for "user created holiday". It will be like the mud festival, but instead of clams we will have a surging mass of ??? and PROFIT!
Will it be a masquerade party? Yes. Will it be what? Of course? Will there be semantic obscurity? Yes, and koans I reckon. What sort of food should you bring? Who knows? It will be a joygasm, a potluck of shennanigans, and above all, more fun than you ever wanted.

So get your creative juices flowing, but more importantly, get your bum to Gunpo city on 8/23. |

Who needs holidays when you have the vast majority of the month off already? |

A better question is, "Why not?" Why not make a holiday? Of course you can always hit par tomorrow: drinking, wanking, bloviate about something inane and hope people care, watch some inane programming, or what have ye. Why not try to make fun instead of hitting well trodden patterns? |

for some reason, "Great shades of George Costanza!" comes to mind.
though technically, it was his father, Frank, who created Festivus. |
