I'm already checking two bags so I don't even know if I'll be allowed to bring it unless I pay a hefty fee. Should I have it shipped? Is there a guitar store in Busan I can buy one cheaply? I don't play it obsessively but I'd be sad to leave it behind. Thoughts? |

It is illegal for foreigners to play music in Korea. So don't bother. |

Contact the airline! It was cheaper for me to pay the fee rather buy a new comparable guitar or ship and insure it. |

You can go either way: Bring it, or buy one when you get here. Guitars are not so expensive here. In addition, you can easlity buy one from someone leaving the country. Best of luck to you. |

Bring it! There are quite a few "foreigner" open-mic nights here in Busan. |

If it's a good one and you're an advanced player...Then yea...You better bring it... If it's a basic junker guitar and you're just a part time strummer then you may want to just buy one when you get here. |

There are plenty of guitar shops in Busan. Get one here. |

It cost me about $75 to bring my guitar here. You can't buy a decent guitar for that kind of money here or anywhere. |
