While milling about Express Bus Terminal I noticed Kim's Club. I went inside and there were a lot of products from home that I'd be interested in buying. My question: Do you need a membership card (like you do at Costco) in order to purchase things there?
Thanks,

Dude just ask them or try to buy something. Don't be skurd.
Anyways, the answer you want... my first time there they asked me for a membership card at the register and when I told them I didn't have one, they directed me to a desk where I signed up.
That place isn't too bad and if you live around there you're not too far from the Costco in Yangjae if you didn't know. |

There is NO MEMBERSHIP for Kims Club. It is just another supermarket / department store - similar to E-mart or Home-plus.

No, I went there yesterday and I go there every few weeks. They'll ask you, they've never directed me to get one. I figure it's probably like having the Shinsegae/E-mart card and it just racks up points or something where they'll give you coupons occasionally. |

I've always rated Kim's Club as the worst Korean supermarket.
I remember going to the one in Bundang once and not getting anything I went for. And I don't mean fancy imported stuff. If I remember right, they didn't even have any kind of pasta, including spaghetti! Every Korean supermarket at least has spaghetti nowadays. |

They have one in Changwon next to the Homeplus, but it's over priced upscale department store with a grocer on the lower level. |
